Sabrina Ehlert is a self-taught mixed media artist working in Longmont, Colorado. In 2018, she opened Sabrina Ehlert Art Studio where she teaches classes and hosts painting events, encouraging others to pick up a brush and explore their creativity. Her unique style pairs the ancient art of paper quilling with contemporary acrylic painting.

“Not Broken Anymore: I use my work as a conduit for healing, using paint and paper to give voice to what, up until now, has been voiceless and hidden. The imagery I use speaks to trauma and abuse, while the paper depicts the fractured sense of self that happens as a result of trauma. Paired together, the painting and the paper, my truth emerges from the canvas.”
