Ehtesham Mofiz is a Pakistani-Australian artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Professionally trained as a scientist in life sciences (genomics), his venture into visual arts began when Melbourne went into an extended lockdown for COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Since then, he has been making artworks regularly, and developing his technique and style. He is mostly interested in digital media and watercolour but would like to explore oil and acrylic in near future. His subjects are often wildlife, people, architecture, and nature. He enjoys the evolving nature of the artistic expression and likes to explore the human experience. He intends to incorporate those explorations into his artwork as the next step in his artistic journey. He is also interested in pottery.
