Susanna Tillander I am an Artist from Helsinki, Finland. I have studied painting in the Helsinki Atelier of Representational Art (HERA). In my paintings I explore the conflicts between extremities. We all experience feelings of pure joy, and moments of deep sadness. But what really fascinates me both in nature and in human life is the inescapable conflict of being, the juxtaposition of hope and despair, manifested through the interface of visual art. Art provides a space for the viewer to experience the beautiful transience of things amidst the chaos of existence. True magic happens where light transcends darkness, where beauty eventually rises from the ruins. That, to me, is the quintessence of life.
