Angela Vanin I was born in Milan in 1965 and after my Socio-pedagogical studies, I leave Milan to travel across Italy and Europe, creating and selling handicrafts, puppets and hand-painted clothes. Later on, I land in Umbria looking for a simple life in full contact with nature and animals. Together with a group of friends we decide to settle in a farmhouse into the woods of Monte Peglia, a wild and uncontaminated area. Here I paint and I take care of a vegetable garden with lots of plant varieties, creating a space of harmony and connection with animals: dogs, cats and donkeys. Here is where my daughters were born and grew up, and where I currently live and keep creating my art. An art that talks about a profound connection with the natural elements: a union that becomes magical fusion, mirror of experiences and paths of life. A union that is space for meditation and appreciation for the beauty of the landscape I live in. Besides that, I also work as a teacher and yoga instructor for children.
