Bio

American Abstract Painter, Gayle Printz, picked up her first paintbrush in May of 2020 to bring light back into a world darkened by the pandemic. Gayle earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and her JD from Boston University School of Law. In August of 2020, she established an online art gallery at www.GaylePrintz.com. Choosing to reflect upon and interpret the beauty that remained, Printz is now a World Master Artist with work on permanent exhibit in France at Le Musée de Peinture de Saint-Frajou. Printz won over 7oo juried international art awards, has been in immeasurable solo and group exhibitions, and is the subject of countless global art publications. This month, her work dons the cover of Current Masters, Volume Six, a juried hardcover art book published by World Wide Art Publications.

Printz’s ground-breaking style is defined by unique color choices, distinctive brushstrokes, and a palpable sense of artistic freedom. Her paintings are magical…changing with the angle of your gaze. To Gayle, this makes perfect sense: “As with life, the meaning in my work depends upon the way you look at it.” Exploring freedom of expression in an untraditional way, Gayle Printz has become one of the most important contemporary artists of our time. It is her goal that when we look at one of her paintings, it captures our eye, captures our interest, and creates an intrigue and value that differs from what we usually see and feel. Encouraging the viewer to use their imagination as the lens through which to find meaning in her work, Printz hopes to inspire each of us to celebrate the beauty in life.
