Tonje Rebecca Rosenberg was born in Oslo, Norway in 1971 and currently lives with her hus-band in the very south of Norway in a small town called Kristiansand. The beautiful nature there gives her inspiration. For a living, she has worked as an entrepreneur and in management and sales, but creativity has always had an impact in her life. Tonje started with acrylic painting pro-jects for personal benefit in 2017 and are a self-thought artist. She find it important to always keep learning and growing as a person, and she sees life itself as the most important teacher. She has learned many valuable things in different courses and she finds that the most crucial part is to enjoy the process itself. Tonje has also learned that knowledge is important, but that true art is when you are able to create from the inside out, just like music and poetry. Her pas-sion is abstract paintings and she enjoys working with different kind of products to make excit-ing textures. There are many layers. She uses liquid pigments, acrylic paint, other mediums, rust, sand, coffee etc.

STATEMENT
“I find see myself as a visual poet, in absence of words I find my brush and canvas. When I see and produce art, I feel a fire inside, it makes me feel alive. I appreciate that art can give a break with beauty and meaning in a challenging world”
