1992 to 1998 Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences studied interior design and graduated with a diploma.
I have been living and married in Switzerland since 1998.
Painting, sculpture, drawing: my exploration of the human body in its proportions and movements, as well as painting outdoors
from nature and excursions into the world of abstraction, accompany me on my journey as an artist.
Form and color are my constant companions. I find it important to explore the colors and forms of my surroundings. Painting means reveling in colors. I treat color, as well as form, with care. It always comes together in new ways and creates different moods. Colors can be used purely bright, in pastel, or even heavily muted. Color can describe reality very accurately or take on its own expression, detached from the body. I move between these poles. Sometimes the color is purely invented and describes the forms in a rather abstract way, sometimes it seems quite real, whether in the reproduction of a landscape or a nude.
Since 2000, I have participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions of paintings and sculptures, with themes such as nude painting and nature depictions, in the Zurich area, including Museum Eduard Spörri, Switzerland. Most recently at Chelsea Old Town Hall, London, England
