Hi, I am Yuliia Nikolaienko Ukrainian artist, based in Kyiv. My creative way started in my childhood with participation in art school. Later I had a degree as an Architect in Poltava National Technical Institute. In 2015, I left my Architect career to dedicate all my time to art. Most of my paintings are made using watercolor, acrylic or oil paints. Main genres of my paintings are abstract expressionism and Modern Petrykivka decorative painting. Main themes of my art are nature and self-determination. Some of the paintings touch on social and political themes such as pollution, negative impact of social media and political instability. Very important part of my art practice is video documenting the process of creating my arts. Most of these videos are posted on my Youtube channel “Julia fine art”. Since then my paintings have been exhibited 5 times at Parallax Art Fair in Manchester and London. My works also sells online on my site as well as in my accounts on Instagram and Facebook.
