Bio

Kerstin Kager, born in Graz, Austria in 1966, began her journey as a language teacher after studying French and German. Her passion for art led her to complete a degree in art therapy in 2001. Inspired by colors, shapes, and shadows from a young age, Kerstin employs expressive colors and powerful black-and-white lines in her artwork. Her themes often revolve around landscapes, water, and dynamic figures in motion, capturing everyday moments from her travels around the world.

Since 1997, Kerstin has showcased her work in exhibitions across Austria and Europe, including solo exhibitions in Paris, Traun, and Wels in 2022, as well as participation in art fairs like Forli and MUST in Lecce. For Kerstin, painting is a form of storytelling, where each artwork represents a chapter in her life's journey. Through her pieces, she invites viewers to engage actively, seeking to evoke personal connections and spark dialogue.
