Lake District based artist, Victoria Knipe has had a love of painting, in particular potraiture, for as long as she can remember. It has only been since 2020 and the Chaos, upheaval and fear that the pandemic brought that she decided to dedicate her time and effort towards fulfilling her lifelong passion and painting full time.
Previously a fiorist, for over 20 years, Victoria's use of colour and texture has transcended from flora and fauna and into her art work. Victoria primarily bases her artwork on portraiture – in particular she is fascinated with the power a pair of eyes can bestow upon the beholder. Her medium of choice is either oils or acrylics.
