ART WILL COME
22 01 2026
Concept by Matilde Della Pina Senior Art Curator
At the beginning of a new year, when the future is still open and imaginable, Art that Will Come, the new show hosted by M.A.D.S. Art Gallery, takes shape as a collective exhibition bringing together international artists invited to reflect on the generative power of art as a space of possibility, hope, and transformation.
The exhibition is grounded in the idea that art is not only a means of interpreting the present, but also an act capable of orienting what does not yet exist. In a time marked by social, environmental, and political uncertainty, the works on view do not offer definitive solutions; instead, they open up visions, suggest new languages, and invite the imagination of viable futures.
Through a range of media-from painting to installation, from video to participatory practices- Art that Will Come explores themes such as imagination, care, transformation, and the collective dimension of artistic experience. The works enter into dialogue as initial gestures, openings, and conscious attempts to construct meaning and relationships in the present.
Presenting the exhibition at the beginning of the year becomes a deliberate curatorial choice: an affirmation that every change begins with an act of imagination, and that art can still contribute to making the future thinkable, shareable, and possible.
Art that Will Come invites the public to dwell within this space of openness, recognizing in art not an abstract promise, but a first concrete gesture toward what is yet to come.
