My name is Andrea Lai alias Dark Glitch born in Italy in 1985, my art reflects my passion for the dark, esoteric and horror world. Fascinated by the art of pop surrealism and with the desire to revisit it by choosing topics full of dark and horror cultural connotations, I want to express myself through the art of glitch art. I started creating art through music first and then through photography. In 2022 I decided to merge the art of music with the art of Glitch by expressing my emotions and amplifying the bpm in sync. Along the way I tried to experiment with different techniques including collages, photo shots, monochrome canvases and artificial intelligence by inserting glitches in digital format. I therefore experimented with various techniques to then find the one that best suited my expression with works of art created only with digital technology. I prefer the pixel sort technique and the block display. I also play a lot on contrasts and brightness trying to recreate dark atmospheres or horror atmospheres with imperfect aesthetic results but which create a clear image as a whole.
