I feel that the old houses in Taiwan always have peculiar layouts, possibly due to simple changes made to accommodate the needs of different periods. This is the first floor of my granduncle's house. The yellow represents light, the blue is the staircase leading to the second floor, the indigo is the wall around the first-floor staircase, and the orange is the shadow. On the left, the white area is a room. I have depicted the internal space of the room to express the space contained within this environment. The white room can be entered through a beige door; however, I added another grey doorframe inside the doorframe, leaving it uncertain which space is actually being entered.
