I painted this work with the image of spring, as the facility I attend is called Hidamari-kai Delight Home.
I had been away from painting for a long time, but I started painting after parting with the staff at this facility.
So I painted this as an expression of gratitude to the facility.
Originally, this work is an addition and revision of the one I painted when I started oil painting.
Even when I started oil painting, yes, I was very excited about it.
Up until then I had despaired of the world and wasn't in a very good state, but that started to change when I started painting.

Now, to explain this painting, I painted a stave image of shredded grass flying into the sky under the warm sunshine with cherry blossoms in bloom, with the wind and grass repre-senting the joyful music, humming and birdsong coming from under the cherry trees.
The work is a semi-abstract depiction of the warm, joyful and gentle images of spring.
I hope it will bring warm feelings to everyone's heart.
