Bio

For many years, Hsun has been an official photographer of Japanese contemporary artist, Miwa Komatsu. His artistry is known to be infectious to viewers and art lovers around the world. Since February 2019, Hsun has created over 2,100 works. He disciplines himself to create at least one picture everyday. He continued to practice his original intention of "healing himself and others through his paintings”. For more than 20 years, Hsun has been a photographer, editor, director and painter. He captures life with various identities and viewpoints and uses images, brushes and colours to create memories through various forms within his works. Now, he follows the fearless pace of colours, using dots, lines, planes, flows or splashes, telling his love on canvases. Staring at Hsun’s paintings seems to create a safe haven in our heart, where healing and inspiring energy flows, making people look forward to his next creation. //Artist statement// Gathering and dispersing are com-mon phenomena in the universe. They conform and form a constant flow of life. I feel that the universe has a beginning and therefore, must have an ending. Each ending is the start of a new journey. In this infinite universe, the visible and invisible has no eternal stop. Birth and death are an eternal complex cycle of life with beauty fading in and out as our memory fades in the short lives we live. If we can find a special place in our lives to settle down and find harmony within, then beauty has already begun to flourish. That is eternity. There is no need for me to say anything in this world. For me, my paintings speak for themselves and for me.
