Roberto Casparrini was born in Foggia. After completing his high school education, he enrolled in the Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering in Naples. He also attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and exhibited his paintings in about forty exhibitions in Italy, France, Malta, and the United States: Rome, Milan, Florence, Pisa, Cesenatico, Bari, Foggia, Brindisi, Lecce, Taranto, La Spezia; Nice and Belier sur Mer (France); New York, Miami, and Los Angeles in video exhibitions. He is passionate about cinema and has directed 12 films, one of which was nominated for an Oscar, “The Star Maker” by Tornatore. He is also an entrepreneur and loves the sea, living on a sailboat.
