Bio:
Andrea McCartney has studied art at The Art Institute of Chicago, University of Iowa, and Drake University. She also has a Pharmacy degree from Drake University.

Artist Statement:
“In my work I integrate lyrical abstraction with a cellular abstract world. I go in and out of my mi-croscopic world which is undeniably feminine. I also like to paint the ocean in what I call Inward Travel, and soak into my painting when I cannot travel for real.
