Because of Climate Change, the risk increases that large regions that are central to global agriculture will be affected by heat. The cause is changes in the dynamics of the jet stream, a high-altitude wind that spans the globe and controls the movements of highs and lows. Heat waves could occur in parallel in regions of the world which together are responsible for a quarter of global food production. Western North America and Russia, Western Europe and the Ukraine are particularly susceptible to this. These are the granaries of the earth. The global hazard is, that it could lead to crop losses in several of the granaries at the same time in the future - with corresponding risks for the global food supply. As a result, shortages and price increases may also affect regions that are not affected by the extreme heat. Because of the war in Ukraine we are already facing such shortages. As a major exporter, Russia wants to limit grain exports. The UN warns of a catastrophe - especially in the countries of Africa and the Middle East. Tunisia for example, imports almost half of the common wheat used in bread from Ukraine. The poorest countries in the world are most affected. Experts estimate, it hits 100 million people. The artist's hand is guided by a higher spirit, there are two different levels, earthly and supernatural. There’s love represented in colors, but a superior great, divine love that moves everything and balances things on earth. "We must do everything we can to avert a hurricane of hunger and a collapse of the global food system," said UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
