Started this painting at a social Painting session which used Mondrian Broadway Boogie as the starting point inspiration.
This painting is of memories living in London, where I lived for quite a few years.
It's just memories and impressions so completely not to scale. Although, the main thoroughfare is based on Oxford Street/Circus.
The Picture is of time spent exploring the streets, shops, cafes, galleries, theatres, different areas, squares and parks. Also, an industrial area with overpasses, and another area which may be out of London. Lots of busy, exciting, things to do.
Actually, I have done a few pictures of City scenes, markets etc.
