As an artist I set out to create pieces that provoke curiosity and passion. I am
an explorer of unfamiliar, unobserved beauty; handing myself over emotionally
and submerging myself in the moment. I listen for the whispering of people,
places, and things begging to be documented and acknowledged. Over the
years, my work has evolved from precision of line and light to the exploration
of composition, color, texture, and manipulation. Precision matters, yet
arousing curiosity and strong emotion is more important to me. By lending a
painterly feel to the photographic medium, paired with collages and new world
mixed media, each piece I fashion becomes intimately unique and personal.
