Bio

Agnieszka Gosciniak The Polish artist, whose latest project 'Living Substance' was inspired by the beauty of human body, sensuality and intimacy as well as motherhood experiences. The artworks focus on the forms and colors, the color palettes are narrowed down to what enhances the portrayed emotions. She prefers oil painting but also likes experimenting using watercolor techniques and mix of other medias. She participated in the Academy of Applied Arts project at the Department of Visual Arts of the University of Science and Technology (Bydgoszcz, Poland) and took part in a number of projects, workshops and exhibitions. LIFE LOVER, LIFE PAINTER – about herself Through art I establish a creative space for myself, which doesn't exist in my typical working day and family life. I am passionate about art, photography. I am interested in good literature. I truly agree with Kurt Vonnegut Jr.: “The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow.” I believe the art is and should be for everyone. I admire people who are creative as it arises from their inner need.
