Ayse Doler Ayse Kazancigil Doler was born in Istanbul in 1959. She graduated from French Girls' High School Saint Benoit and Istanbul University, Department of Biology. She has a master's degree at Milwaukee State University. She completed her Medical PhD in the Department of Physiology at Istanbul Medical Faculty. She worked as a researcher and lecturer in the same department for 12 years. She resigned in 1991. In 1993, she founded the EEG biofeedback laboratory (EGL) with two professor colleagues. By the way, she keep painting all the time. In 2005, she quit her profession completely, transferred her lab and began to deal only with painting. During her years at the university, she took thesis and miniature courses from Gülbin Meserra and her team in the workshop of Prof. Suheyl Ünver. By the way, she painted. She continued her studies with a technique created by combining ottoman thesis art with her own dreams and interpretation.
