Carioca, born and raised in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I grew up under many creative stimuli, although there was no artist in the family. I graduated as a physician at the Federal Uni-versity of Rio de Janeiro and specialized in diagnostic imaging. Something besides using the image as a source of information was already stored in me. I married Leonardo, a school and university partner, with whom I had two children and still live today. A partner in everything, he helped me win the battle against cancer, being a great supporter of the development of my ar-tistic side. In the midst of the pandemic that ravages the planet, as a doctor and as a human be-ing, I had to deal with a crazy and depressive mix of feelings, not unlike other people. At that time, painting came out of me as a way to process and express every pain, loss, fear but also overcoming, resilience, compassion... I put out the artist that was kept in me.
