Masquerade : Acrylic on linen, 72 x 48 inches (183 x 122 centimeters) 2019. Masquerade: This work embodies my artistic thesis of harmony between humanity and nature. Party animals are depicted masquerading as each other. Constellations reconfigure as human stars. Day and night occur simultaneously so the sunset moves into the grand ballroom. The Man in the Moon masks the moon’s orb and merrily throws stardust onto the party as if it were confetti. A chipmunk dressed in a ruff bears witness to harmony between humanity and nature.
