Since this painting's composition features many walls at first glance, I am concerned that using different colours for each wall might flatten the space instead of creating a sense of depth. Therefore, I choose to alternate between two colours to depict the walls. This concept is also applied in the other painting of this pair. The blank spaces for the door and windows evoke curiosity about what lies beyond.
