Tadashi Nishida is a Japanese artist (1962) graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Department of Art, Painting Major. From 1988 to 2021 he worked in TV Art as scene shifter.

Artistic statement
“Now I do not use materials to express my images. I confront the phenomena born from the dirt and scratches created by nature. I create images by adjusting color tone, lightness, darkness, etc. from what is already there. I am an observer”
The casual objects on street corners, scratches and stains, and the weathering and changes cre-ated by time. I take pictures with my cell phone and bring in new changes. When I increase the brightness and saturation, and distort the shape a little, an impression is born. The work is complete when it is in perfect harmony with my sensibilities”
