Haowen Yang is a fashion photographer that comes from China. He is a majoring Fashion photography on London College of Fashion,University of The Arts, near the graduation.
He was born in Urumqi, Xinjiang, it is located in the northwestern of China. His hometown is a diversified city with many ethnic minorities. His parents don't hope that he studies art because they are very traditional, and they are almost 70 years old, they hope he can find a good and stable job, but he loves all forms of art: painting, music, film and so on. For Haowen Yang, photography is just an artistic way to observe life, make money and express emotions.
Before he came to London as a Master student, he worked in Beijing for three years. Different from other Chinese students, he earned his tuition.When he graduated from college, he started his photography work in Beijing. Then in 2019, he was still not satisfied with the status quo, with a small amount of money made the decision to study abroad and to come to UK to continue his studies. He thinks that if he wants to have better works, he must learn more and have more experience.
