Bio
Chrysovalantou Frangos is a Greek-Australian emerging artist, painter as well as a graphite drawer based in Brisbane, Australia. She is currently studying the Bachelor of Fine Art at Griffith University.
From the age of five, she drew self-portraits with her colouring pencils that reflected and ex-pressed her emotions. Struggling to find her identity and express emotions, she would draw her image in portraits of strong, tough, reliant, and independent women. Chrysovalantou fell in love with painting the nude form of the female body when she was focusing on undercover her trau-ma, emotional and physical relationship with her own body. She developed her unique style of painting of blue tones and gold detail through figurative and realism. Her current focus is to re-veal the connection between the mind, body, soul, and spirit. The unity and light they bring when it becomes one. One with yourself and God. The artist is exploring spirituality, purpose, identity, emotional and physical trauma in her artworks. She creates commission paintings for customers and also sells artworks in her Esty store.
