Garrick Lam Garrick was born and raised in Hong Kong. Being a self-taught artist, he explores the world of art with acrylic paintings. He enjoys doing both landscape and abstract painting. Garrick started his art journey just a few years ago and has been developing his artistic adventure since then. Garrick expresses his feelings, dreams and the way he sees life through the colour of harmony or chaos in his paintings. To Garrick, the process of art creation and appreciation is a gateway (or channel) to hear the soul speaks. In the process of painting, Garrick would look at a blank canvas and let his imagination speaks in a moment of silence. At times, opposing imageries would argue, and then compromise. Garrick believes listening to the heart is a healing journey for everyone.
