Nico Ramon Kastner (born 20th December 2000) is a self-taught swiss artist, who focuses on painting intimate moments of people in a moment of introspection and self-reflection. His self-portraits also show an honest confrontation with himself, where he explores feelings of solitude and alienation. The rather dark palette of his oil paintings harmonizes with the mood and the themes the paintings portray. The other spectrum of his work varies from figurative studies, portraits, and references to his passion for music. He is currently studying fine arts at the “F + F School for Art and Design” in Zurich and also works as a musician and photographer.
