“Sunset is composed of 4 canvases : 2 small ones, a square one and a long one. For this one I've used tape on edges and one in the middle to leave some white blank. And then I've just let my inspiration sail. It combined swiping and pouring technique (in the middle of the square one). I wanted this canvas to be the perfect balance between "lâchez prise", ("letting go") in letting my emotional instinct to paint and the control, using large band of tape. In addition, "Sunset" reminds me as well this nice moment between day and night; right moment to relax, think about ourselves...and dream”.
