Bio

Working in Watercolour, acrylic & ink, Diana creates whimsical pieces of art from her studio in North Devon. With an ancestry of wigmakers & costumiers ‘By Royal Appointment’ to HM Queen Victoria, Diana finds herself drawing inspiration by living in Ilfracombe a seaside town steeped in Victorian history. While studying at Harrow Art School for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design & illustration, Diana was presented with the ‘Winsor & Newton Artist Award’ followed by the winning the ‘Smirnoff Fashion Awards’ a televised event with Vivienne Westwood & Franco Moschino judging. This lead to articles published about her designs in ID magazine, The Guardian including The Daily Telegraph. Diana then went on to have a successful career as a childrenswear designer travelling extensively to India, Asia, Europe & the USA for inspiration. During this time she designed for Mathew Williamson, John Rocha & Jasper Conran.

‘Now my passion is to create cheerful quirky paintings from my imagination of the stunning scenery in Devon for others to keep as a cherished memory’
