Adib Haddad was born in 1981 in Beirut, Lebanon. Adib comes from a Finance back-ground, holding higher degrees and occupied high-level positions in this field. In 2019, Adib discovered the art within, and since then, he dedicated his full time into art.

Statement
I am a self-taught artist driven by imagination, creation and expression. My impulses are authen-tic and pure. My characters are raw and rough, they are depicted essentially in the morphology of the faces and the eyes. For me, to create is to feel alive – life and states of humanity are my inspiration. My tools are only paintbrushes, in addition to Black and White acrylic paint from which I mix and apply my own shades of grey; allowing me to transmit the true essence of my message through form and texture without any use of color. Recently, in 2023, I have also start-ed experimenting with colors to experience how my art would evolve in that direction.
