Patricia Willis (Mumi Willis) is an artist, born in Buenos Aires in 1974, settled in Corrientes, Argentina. She loves art in its different manifestations, and integrates her interest in fusing Eastern and Western culture, both in her artistic and medical vocation; practicing Psychiatry along with acupuncture and Qi gong (A branch of Ancestral, Nei Dan Dao internal Chinese medicine) as well as her passion for oriental dance. Self-taught by nature, her artistic journey began during childhood and adolescence with drawings of surreal content; added to a strong imprint of the knowledge of the human figure at the anatomical and cellular level during her medical career that stands out in the course and development of her drawings and paintings. In the pathway to broaden horizons, she incorporated the technique of hyperrealism where she expresses with vitality and emotion the energy that emanates from her multiple vocations, all intertwined by her passionate spirit. She has conducted courses and seminars with Rodolfo Insaurralde (teaching at the Goya Cultural Center), and took lessons with Nguyen Cuong and ALejandro Rosemberg, to add several techniques to her free intuitive style in her oil paintings and pastel charcoal among others. Her works have been exhibited in different provinces of Argentina and internationally in Spain, Hong Kong, Miami, New York , the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and recently this year 2021 in Dubai with the best gallery award winning Latinamerican Pavilion Gallery. Several of her artworks form part of collections in Asia, Mexico and Europe. Her Art have been exhibited in 2021 in WORLD ART DUBAI with the winning award for best gallery 2021 with Latinamerican Pavilion (LAP), in Shen Zhen City (China) and next exhibitions scheduled for 2022 New York City (USA) and Dubai (April 2022).
