Toni Ibañez
Digital Artist
Bio
I am Toni Ibáñez, a Bolivian artist, an industrial engineer by profession, for me it is a privilege to dedicate myself to painting, to inspire and help others in some way, it is an honor to exhibit at the prestigious
M.A.D.S. Art Gallery. In this space I share my paintings made in digital media, mostly I paint portraits and still life, I find inspiration through people who impact me in some way. I look for in each painting to use a combination of colors that make it stand out and I find it strikingly beautiful. When I connect with my crea- tive process, I use colors that make me feel that virtual reality far from what I see in everyday life. Each painting speaks of my being a meticulous and at the same time disheveled that provokes me and generates feelings of attraction for the aesthetic. Tell you also that I do oil paintings on canvas and on masonite, a se- ries of classic cars with lots of light and color. I am currently working on a series of old jeeps. In these pieces I express my transition from engineering to art, this is my journey, that's why I paint cars, since cars repre- sent trips and each painting of a car represents a part of this journey that is life. And well, I like the way re- flections look on metal.
