Description
“I kept the canvas mostly white to represent an angelic feel of purity. Of what we all are striving to portray on social media, or outwardly appearances to people that don’t really know us. We keep whats cringe and creepy about us on the inside. So I use deep reds to represent the wounded trauma inside us all and then I used different shades of beige and browns to represent the fluids, to represent the healing of the wounds as we heal. Then I used blue like the blood, and her veins are life force when we’re all put together and healed. I personally have healed a lot in 2025 and it’s represented in my work in 2026. I feel we have to heal those creepy, cringe things about ourselves on the inside. We don’t want people to know about in order to become the highest versions of ourselves. Healing our “shadow work” makes us become ourselves angelic, a balanced person. I learned without my pasted baggage, I found I was lighter and stronger. I had to forgive those who had done things against me, without getting an apology for what they did to me. I realized they did those things, because they had not healed the wounds and trauma they had dealt with themselves. I also had to forgive myself for things I did to myself to survive in order to move forward. So you have a choice to heal and not repeat it or continue the cycle. That is why I chose to have the reds in looping circles, and the healing colors of the beiges and browns breaking free. And then I put the blue going through to represent the life healing life force of blood in our veins for moving forward and putting a stop to the continuing unhealed wounds.”
