Born in East Africa, now lives in London. Has 3 children, trained as a social worker. Has always been actively creative whilst working in other disciplines, she holds a degree in Social Work and a degree in literature. Whilst at University she experimented with painting and has only recently returned to it full time. Works mainly within a digital format.

Fatima is heavily influenced by the landscapes, colours and textures of Africa, exploring such themes as memory, loss, and identity. Fatima hopes the viewer can feel and connect with the work.
