Miei Sato “Time continues to exist, and everything changes. The scenery that I see is also changing from moment to moment. Emotions, sensations, climate, sounds, scents: the invisible things are intermingled, and the landscape never shows the same appearance again. The world, which is recognized as a common wisdom, is only a momentary existence. Right next to the world you see, there is a world with a different face. The real world is innumerable and uncertain as it changes in response to oneself. Therefore, I definitely want to draw so as not to miss that moment.” Born in Kobe, Japan in 1987. 2012 Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Fine Arts, Department of Oil Painting. Started artist activities upon graduation and participated in many group exhibitions. Since 2013, Miei held many solo exhibitions in Japan. In 2020, she made a huge 7x16m mural art in Kobe city.
