I paint feelings. I am educated in the Vedic Art tradition, where the baseline is a holistic approach to embrace all aspects of the human being and its creating power. Art and life are connected. My artworks reflect a dynamic state of my life and express feelings and moods. I have attended several classes in Vedic Art and this philosophy of life and art lifts the joy of painting to new dimensions and adds a depth that I enjoy very much. In addition to Vedic Art, I have joined several art classes with different artists over the resent years. I grew up on an island on the west coast of Norway, and this is where my love for the ocean, wind and nature was born. I practice wild swimming all year through, and this gives me an intense feeling of being present. Through my paintings I try to express a mood or inner feeling more than a specific formation or external happening. I think many people can associate to the inner landscape of the soul. My inspiration mostly come from nature, my emotional life and from dreams.
