Bio
I grew up surrounded by art from a young age, and when I became an adult and my children were settled I started making pottery in 2018.
I have been exhibiting my work at events such as the Design Festa held at Tokyo Big Sight, and have been active as an artist.
In 2023 I came across “Botany painting”, an art form in which dried leaves such as lotus leaves are attached to wooden panels and then coloured with acrylic paint.
I became absorbed in this fascinating art, and first became a partner instructor, and in December last year I passed the professional instructor skills test and obtained my qualification. From this year I have been holding workshops and other courses in Japan and am active in the art world.
At the same time, I also obtained a qualification as a developmental disorder support worker so that I could also support children through art.
