I’m Katrine Vincentsen, in art “Art by Vinc”. I was born in 1993, in Næstved, Denmark.
Ever since I could hold onto a pencil, drawing has been second nature to me. I love colours and I like to experiment. I am very spiritual, and study the energies of nature, where I also spent a lot of time - my source of inspiration.
My mother grew up in Ittoqqotoormiit, Greenland, where I have roots, and which is also the smallest village in Greenland. For a short time, I lived in Greenland and went to school there. At a young age, I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) and a mental illness, this present-ed me with many physical and mental challenges, but at the same time it gave me the freedom to be an artist. Working on my art allowed me to keep my spirits up. Now I live in the country-side in a beautiful house, among nature and animals, where I can continue working on my art.
