TITLE: Arcadia Dimensions : 24” x 36” (x3) Medium(s ): Photo-Illustration, Photography, Painting Description : Deriving inspiration from the rapturing psychological encompassment of the act of creation, this series was made with the intent of rendering myself integrated with the medium in which I was working. Characterizing the likeness of a deeply emotional and passionate nature, I use gesture and the implied movement of the paint as a way of rhythmically suggesting a relationship between the two. In this way, I suggest a radius of emotions tied intrinsically to the explorative nature of creativity, as well as the yielding dexterity to which it has the power to dominate it’s vessel.
