I live in Trondheim in the middle of Norway. Born in April 1970. I have two grown up chil-dren and I work at a hospital. In my younger years I used to study art in upper secondary school, but it wasn't until the last couple of years that I actually did something about my interest in art. To get started I entered a course of abstract painting, but I soon saw that I couldn't let go of my figurative side, but then again, why should I. I entered a second course just to refresh what I've learned in my earlier years. I paint whatever comes into my mind and I like to mix the abstract with the figurative. I use acrylics and sometimes mixed media. There is a lot of negativity out there in the world, so if my paintings can give someone a good feeling and make someone smile, I think I have achieved what I want.
