Birgitta Ahlberg Larsson My name is Birgitta Ahlberg Larsson. I live in Ljungby, a little town between lakes and woods in southern Sweden. It´s a place where I find calm and inspiration. I have been painting in different ways in my whole life, and I feel it´s important and rewarding for me. As artist I am autodidact. I have learned a lot from artists who has been my teachers in evening and weekend schools. For now I am studying the basic course in Vedic Art. I use moistly acrylic. My paintings are intuitive, I never know from start how they will end. I make a background on canvas with colours and a lot of water. Then later I find my motive in the patterns formed.
