Nina Enger I am a self trained artist and I work from my home studio. For many years I worked as a chemical engineer travelling around Europe, but managed to put time aside for my writing and painting projects. I’m inspired by many elements, but the greatest being that of nature. The depth and atmosphere of light peeking through dark and threatening cloud formations fills my soul with joy. So powerful and So beautiful and Such a great reminder of what’s lurking in the darkness. The key message in my work is that we all have access to an inner unshakable essence. Behind the clouds and our thoughts about the world lies a powerful message to everyone of us - a promise of absolute peace devoid of struggle and hardship. We just have to want it strongly enough:-) Painting helps me express this inner knowing, and is an act of its own, but if it touches the innermost part of the observer it is all the more satisfying.
