Leeroy Rivera is a contemporary visual artist born in Mayagüez Puerto Rico in 1988. His passion for art began at an early age when he saw his uncle draw comics. This sparked his interest and, fascinated by what he was able to do with pencil and paper, he started drawing almost every day since then. One of his mentors was Miguel Nicolai at the art academy and he later worked in a tattoo shop learning the art of tattooing and other artistic mediums.
Extreme music and cinema have greatly influenced his work and are reflected in their dark theme combined with the beauty of colors.
