mARTina Hannon Art can mean anything to anyone. What brings art to life is connection to the human experience, a pipeline to the soul. Martina uses Acrylic paint on canvas to convey her experiences, with the goal of connecting others to it. This fine artist draws upon themes such as the feminine mystique and the power of nature in her abstract art. Her vibrant use of color has profoundly shaped her unique experience, inspired by Czech immigrant parents and her youth in the Caribbean. Martina spent a year abroad in Paris as an au pair and a fashion model while studying art. She obtained her BA in Modern Languages with minors in Fine Art and Women's Studies. Martina lived in Las Vegas for over a decade but now calls Northeast Florida home. Though she is a competitive swimmer, she feels most alive with a paintbrush in her hand.
