Technique: Acrylic and stucco on canvas
Description:
“City in Frequency” is an abstract interpretation of contemporary urban life. Built through layers of acrylic, stucco, textures and expressive marks, the work captures the invisible energy that flows through a city every day.
The composition is dominated by vibrant blue tones intersected by black traces, fragments of color and textured surfaces. These elements evoke movement, human presence, communication, noise, encounters and the constant rhythm of urban environments. Rather than representing a specific place, the painting explores the emotional frequency of the city: a space where chaos and beauty coexist, where countless stories overlap and where life continuously transforms itself.
Created through a layered process combining acrylic paint and stucco, the work develops depth and movement across the canvas. The textured surface and gestural marks suggest streets, buildings, crowds and urban signals, allowing the viewer to discover new details and interpretations over time.
The title, “City in Frequency”, refers to the unique vibration of every city. Beyond its architecture, a city is made of people, emotions, memories, movement and connections. This artwork seeks to translate that invisible pulse into a visual language.
