This work is an “Alla Prima” into the artist’s currency style. The work’s title comes from the process of creation. Without preparation of any kind, this piece was created in a one-shot on black canvas. The work is meant to be openly interpreted without any constraints on symbolism, representation, or preconceived ideas. Much of the artist’s future work is based on this fundamental idea of “Something from Nothing”.
