Description
“Burst of joy” was inspired by that feeling of sudden intense emotion that overwhelms and brings tears of shock, delight and awe. It speaks of divine presence - of God, of a spiritual experience. The image was created quickly in layers, finally adding gold leaf and small marks using acrylic pens - symbols of leaves, love hearts and net patterns. I also used big brushes to start with and refined in layers, as well as using a palette knife in places.
